In the quiet crofting township of Glenhinnisdal, Trotternish B&B is 5 miles south of Uig and 11 miles north of Portree. With the River Hinnisdal running through the glen, this is an ideal spot for salmon fishing (permit required).
Walkers and Climbers are spoilt for choice. Trotternish peninsula is thought by many to be a spectacular part of the Island. Trotternish Ridge dominates the landscape and offers some of the best hillwalking and views, from the Quiraing to the Old Man Of Storr. This is a place full of romance, the Fairy Glen, standing stones and cairns.
